COVID Safety Precautions

The safety of you and your family is our foremost priority. At Parkville Family Dentistry we go above and beyond to provide a safe and comfortable dental environment by far exceeding the infection control recommendations made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

Our safety measures to care for you include:

  • Staff outfitted with proper PPE

  • Staff tested for COVID-19

  • Use of hyper HEPA filtration system for the air (.003 microns)

  • Temperature taken of staff and patients daily prior to starting work

  • Hand sanitizer is available in all dental rooms, front desk, and reception.

  • All patients will be required to wash their hands prior to their appointment

  • Pre-screening of patients prior to their appointment

  • Medical history and consent forms are available to download and fill out at your home

  • Virtual consultations available upon request

  • Use of extra-oral suction machines

  • Use of Intraoral suction devices

  • Our waiting room will no longer offer magazines nor children’s toys, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.

  • Coronavirus sani medical wipes for disinfection of surfaces

  • Rigorous sanitation efforts with hypochlorous acid at the end of each day

What we would like our patients to do:

  • Social distancing (i.e. 1-2 people in the waiting room, 1 person at front desk)

  • Use of hand sanitizers

  • Use of masks upon entry until dental procedure starts

  • Use of your own pens if possible

  • If you are feeling sick please reschedule your appointment

While much has changes since the COVID pandemic, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
